This study aims to investigate the extent to which of watching intensity of One Piece anime series influences the level of heroism in Jakarta university students, by considering the level of dimension on five aspects of heroism: altruism, courage, justice, sacrifice, and empathy. The Cultivation theory is used as the theoretical framework in this study. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative approach, where data is collected through a survey to a sample of respondents who are university students and One Piece viewers. Data analysis was conducted using Spearman coefficient correlation to test the relationship between the variables studied. The results showed that the watching intensity of One Piece anime series has a direct (positive) weak relationship to the levels of heroism. The R2 value is 0,9 which means that One Piece only influence 9% in the levels of heroism in the Jakarta university students. This shows there are other 91% factors besides One Piece that are more dominant in influencing the heroic behaviors in Jakarta university students. These findings provide important insights for future research in examining the other factors that contributes to the high levels of heroism. In addition, this study also underscores the importance of studying heroism in the young generations of Indonesia.
