Description
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in the field of deep learning, has created significant opportunities for improving medical image analysis and computer-aided disease diagnosis. Chest X-ray imaging is one of the most widely used diagnostic imaging techniques for identifying respiratory abnormalities; however, the interpretation of X-ray images requires considerable clinical expertise and can be time-consuming, particularly when large numbers of images need to be examined. In resource-constrained healthcare environments, the availability of experienced radiologists may also be limited. To address these challenges, this study presents an AI-powered system for the automated detection of pneumonia from chest X-ray images using a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The proposed system classifies chest X-ray images into two categories: Normal and Pneumonia.
