Sociological theory contributes to our perception of gender as more than simply an attribute of an individual but rather as a multilevel system. Empowering students to take control to lead functional and fulfilling lives should help them meet their needs for power and belonging and enable them to pursue and realize their social goals. (Sullivan, A.M., 2001) The objective of this study is to assess Plan International Ethiopia‘s project intervention and its impact on adolescent female students‘ gender awareness and empowerment at Guangua Woreda Mentawuha and Guangua Mariam Primary Schools.
