The major way that interaction occurred was through classrooms, and most times through friends in the neighborhood. In recent years, technology has been evolving and it has had a huge significance in the society and the world globally. As a result of the advent of technology, the digital revolution was introduced. The digital revolution bought about computers, laptops, mobile phones, and internet connection. These innovations have significantly eased communication, it makes learning much more conducive and interesting, it could even be used for entertainment purposes. In today’s world, according to United Nations Children’s Fund over five billion people are digital connected. In the past, some children did not still really have access to the internet due to parental discretions, except on special occasions. However, digital media including online communication platforms and applications accessed via smartphones, tablets and computers have become central and prominent in their lives.
