This book examines the impact of working capital management on the profitability of automotive manufacturing companies listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). Based on ten years of financial data from 20 companies covering 2007–2016, the study analyzes key working capital components including the Average Collection Period, Inventory Conversion Period, Average Payment Period, and Cash Conversion Cycle. Using regression analysis and Return on Assets (ROA) as a measure of profitability, the research highlights the relationship between working capital practices and financial performance. The findings provide useful insights for finance professionals, researchers, students, and managers seeking to understand effective working capital management in Pakistan’s automotive sector.
