Dr. Kumar has fourteen years of teaching, research and extension experiences. He did B.Sc. (Ag.) in 2001 and M.Sc. (Ag.) in 2003 from BHU, Varanasi. He is recipient of BHU Binani Gold Medal for standing first in the M.Sc. (Ag.) of the entire Institute of Agricultural Sciences. He is also awarded with BHU Gold Medal for standing first in Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at the M.Sc. (Ag.). He is Recipient of T.D.N.K. endowment scholarship during M.Sc. (Ag.).
