Dr. A. Harinda Lakmal is the Founding Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment & Spatial Sciences and a Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, Sri Lanka. He holds a Ph.D. in Geographic Information Engineering from Liaoning Technical University and an MBA. A registered licensed surveyor, researcher, and author, Dr. Lakmal specializes in deformation monitoring, GIS, spatial sciences, and high-precision surveying for major national projects.
