Ethiopia is the second most populous country in Africa, a landlocked nation in the Horn of Africa with an estimated population of over 135 million as of 2025. Its capital, Addis Ababa, is renowned for its rich cultural legacy, varied ethnic groupings, and ancient history. It is also one of the few African countries that has never been completely colonized.
