The authors, as ENEA researchers, have collaborated for several decades in activities on Structural preservation of cultural heritage, Experimental vibration analysis of structures, System identification, Development and application of new anti-seismic technologies, Bridges. They carried out a lot of experimental campaigns on historic constructions, subject to ambient and traffic-induced vibration, and seismic actions. They also took part in several National and European research projects.
