Dr. Muniaraj Mayilsamy is an acclaimed Indian medical researcher currently serving as a senior scientist at the ICMR-National Institute for Vector Control Research in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He specializes in microbiology, medical entomology, and the epidemiology of vector-borne diseases. His core research targets insect vectors and public health threats like Visceral Leishmaniasis, chikungunya,dengue, and Japanese encephalitis. He has developed novel methods to understand mosquito biology.
