Amos Okot
Okot Amos is an award-winning Ugandan laboratory scientist, public health leader, and diagnostics innovator working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, spectroscopy, and global health. He serves as Laboratory Manager and Acting Deputy Director of Public Health and Environment in charge of Diagnostics at Kampala Capital City Authority. His research focuses on developing AI-enabled mid-infrared spectroscopy tools for reagent-free malaria vector surveillance and antimicrobial susceptibility.
