The author received their doctorate in 2002 from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka and has been recognized as an Associate Professor in Vietnam since 2006. They have held positions as a senior lecturer at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (1984-2016) and currently serve as a senior lecturer and Vice Rector at Phan Thiet University (2017-present). Throughout their career, the author has published 21 books on various economic topics in Vietnam and 4 books internationally.
