Artificial intelligence is rapidly entering vocational education, promising faster administration, stronger student support, and more responsive planning. Yet without clear governance, AI can also threaten learner rights, privacy, fairness, occupational safety, assessment validity, and public trust. This book presents a practical framework for the responsible management of AI in Thailand’s Vocational Certificate education. Drawing on Thai laws and policies, international standards, and current research, it identifies seven management domains where AI may add value and six cross-cutting risk clusters that institutions must address. The proposed framework translates responsible-AI principles into action through four risk tiers, seven lifecycle gates, clearly assigned accountability, auditable records, a phased implementation roadmap, and a balanced evaluation scorecard. It emphasizes that AI should support—not replace—professional and collective judgement in decisions affecting admission, progression, assessment, discipline, workplace placement, or learner welfare. Designed for policymakers, vocational college leaders, quality-assurance bodies, teachers, administrators, technology and procurement teams, employers, and researchers, the book offers a grounded route from experimentation to evidence-based and accountable adoption. Its central message is simple: responsible AI should be judged by whether it strengthens competence, inclusion, trust, and continuous improvement while keeping public accountability unmistakably human.
