Description
This Book examines the economic impact of Pakistan’s foreign-policy choices after 9/11. It addresses three research questions: how the attacks changed Pakistan’s foreign-policy priorities; what major direct and indirect economic costs resulted from involvement in the War on Terror; and to what extent US assistance and Pakistan’s relationship with China, particularly through CPEC, helped address these challenges. The study adopts a qualitative, descriptive, and analytical research design based on secondary sources including academic literature, institutional reports, policy documents, and publicly available research.
