Usman Mohammed Ali
Usman Mohammed Ali is an Ethiopian plant scientist and Lecturer at Wollega University. He holds an MSc in Horticulture (CGPA 4.0) and a BSc in Plant Science. His research focuses on plant genetics and breeding, employing mutation breeding and biotechnology for crop improvement. He received the Young Scientist Award (2025) from the International Research Awards on Science, Health and Engineering and the Outstanding Scientist Award (2026) from Biotechnology Scientist Awards.
