Understanding adolescent vulnerability begins with seeing how emotions, self-perception and relationships fit together. In Map of Affective and Personality Vulnerabilities in Emotionally Immature Adolescents, Alina (State) Pătrașcu explores the connections between emotional maturity, self-esteem, self-depreciation and maladaptive personality traits. Drawing on research with Romanian adolescents, the book examines negative affectivity, detachment, antagonism, disinhibition and psychoticism within a developmental and relational framework.
