Among other things, this book describes various avenues for the generation of solar power. A description of methods for evaluation of potential solar energy generation from roof areas from previous works was presented. This method was used to evaluate the potential for solar energy generation potential for residential and industrial customers.  In the effort towards sustainability in global energy use, it is important that we use renewable energy supply whenever we can. The global energy supply can be supplemented with non-renewable energy when the limit of technological innovation for the effective use of renewable energy is reached. However, it is important that we cultivate a continuous improvement culture to improve renewable energy technologies for various applications to achieve the goal of sustainable management of non-renewable energy. Further research is recommended on innovative techniques to use solar energy and other renewable forms of energy to sustainably manage 'non-renewable' energy resources for present and future generations.
