The author, Md Zillur Rahman, is a Bangladesh Navy officer with vast experience in the maritime tourism of Bangladesh, located in the northern Bay of Bengal. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Maritime Governance and Policy at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
