Dr. Zakaria has completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc in Microbiology (1993 and 1995 respectively). He has completed Ph.D in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology (2000), Japan. Dr. Ahmed published 51 full scientific papers as principal author among which 2 books and 7 book chapters, 72 as co-author in different prestigious international and local journals, 18 review articles, 25 popular articles (Bangla and English) in different local newspaper and magazines.
