Dr. Zakaria Ahmed, born on December 14, 1970, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is an accomplished microbiologist with a distinguished educational background, including a Ph.D. from Ehime University, Japan. He has held various academic positions, including Assistant and Associate Professor at Primeasia University, and has worked at the Bangladesh Jute Research Institute since 1996. His research focuses on applied microbiology, enzymology, and environmental microbiology.
